Vitality triumphs at BLAST Premier Fall Finals on Counter-Strike 2!
On Sunday, the international Counter-Strike community had only eyes for Copenhagen, in which the BLAST Premier Fall Finals were taking place. Gathering history’s eight best teams, such as Heroic, FaZe Clan, Natus Vincere or Vitality, the competition was obviously disputed on Counter-Strike 2, since Global Offensive was terminated last summer.

Two squads started dominating the competition as early as the group stage, with two victories and zero defeat: Vitality and FaZe Clan. It is then no surprise that both teams met in the finals, after defeating respectively Cloud9 and Complexity.
Against all expectations, the finals were a one-way-street, in which Vitality dominated as soon as the first set (13 rounds to 3). This result is all the more surprising since the French squad had recently changed its line-up, notably by welcoming William “mezii” Merriman.
It is then the first title ever won by the Bees with this new squad, showing once again that season 23 is their year, with this fourth competitive victory. Despite the release of the sequel and their change of line-up, Vitality managed to adapt, after a surprising slip at October’s IEM Sydney. This title comes with a $200.000 cashprize, as well as a ticket to the World Final, starting December 13 in Abu-Dhabi, UAE.
