Valorant Game Changers Championship in starting-blocks!

As most women-esport circuits struggle to find their way into the international scenes, we must underline the upcoming launch of the second edition of Valorant’s Game Changers Championship. After a first episode, organised in Berlin in 2022, the women’s world championship on Riot Games’ FPS is now taking place in São Paulo, Brasil.

On Tuesday, November 28th, the world’s eight best women teams on Valorant will clash to try to win the title of world champion. Among the contenders, incumbent G2 Gozen will meet Turkey’s BBL Queens, North-America's Evil Geniuses GC, Brazil’s Team Liquid and last year’s runner-up Shopify Rebellion.

Regarding the tournament, squads will fight in Bo3s in a double-elimination system, meaning that teams losing their first game will have the opportunity to make a comeback through the lower bracket.

The finals will oppose the main event’s best team to their lower bracket’s counterparts. It will be played in a Bo5, forcing the champions to win at least three rounds to earn the crown and the $180.000$ cashprize.
